Camillus House has been providing a variety of support services for people in need for over 50 years. Currently, the nonprofit group oversees a range of programs and activities, including its Women's Shower Program.

Launched over 15 years ago, the Women's Shower Program at Camillus House offers Miami women dealing with homelessness what many people take for granted: access to safe, clean shower facilities. The program is available from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, at the Camillus House on Miami's 7th Avenue.

In addition to shower facilities, the program provides women with hygiene kits containing shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste and a toothbrush, deodorant, and other self-care items. The program also introduces many women to Camillus House, and can serve as a conduit to other services, including those focused on meeting physical, mental, emotional, and social needs.

To continue offering its Women's Shower Program, Camillus House relies on the support of volunteers and donors. More information about how to help is available at www.camillus.org.
